Code of Ethics for Brands

The following are a list of guidelines and values that I hold as a personal brand that will help dictate how I create content between brands to better first serve my audience to ultimately establish and grow relationships between all parties ethically.

Transparency: Clearly disclose partnerships and sponsorships in all communications. Audiences should be able to easily distinguish between sponsored and non-sponsored content.

  1. Authenticity: I avoid promoting products or services that I do not genuinely believe in or have not personally experienced.

  2. Honesty: Provide truthful information about the products or services being promoted. Avoid making exaggerated claims or false statements.

  3. Respect for Audience: Consider the interests and well-being of your audience in all brand deals. Avoid promoting products or services that could be harmful or misleading.

  4. Compliance with Laws and Regulations: Adhere to all relevant advertising standards and regulations, including those related to disclosures, endorsements, and consumer protection.

  5. Conflict of Interest: Disclose any conflicts of interest that may influence the content of the promotion or review.

  6. Privacy and Data Protection: Respect the privacy of your audience and handle any personal data in compliance with data protection laws.
