CREATOR COACHING

What You Want in Life Is on the Other Side of Creating Videos

I help creators stop overthinking and start making videos that actually grow their channel. No fluff. No gatekeeping. Just a real system from someone who's done it.

YEARS CREATING

THE LIES YOU’VE BEEN TOLD

Three things keeping you from starting — and none of them are true.

I believed all three of these. They cost me years. Don't let them cost you.

"I need better gear first"

I review cameras for a living. Trust me — your phone is enough to start. The creators who grow aren't the ones with the best equipment. They're the ones who actually hit record. Gear is the easiest excuse because it feels productive. It's not.

"I don't have enough time"

I built my entire channel while working full-time as a nurse. It's not about having time — it's about having a system that doesn't waste the time you do have. Without a workflow, one video takes all week. With one, it doesn't.

"I'm not interesting enough to be on camera"

You don't need to be entertaining. You need to be helpful. The most successful creators aren't performers — they're people who solve a specific problem for a specific audience. That's it. If you know something someone else needs to learn, you're ready.

MY STORY

I Posted 286 Videos Before I Figured Out What I Was Doing Wrong

I started my first YouTube channel in 2015. I was a registered nurse. I had failed my nursing board exam twice, and instead of hiding from it, I picked up a camera and started documenting the journey. At first it was just for me — processing the failure out loud. But then I realized my classmates from nursing school were going through the same thing. Most of us weren't passing. So I started making videos to help them too.

People told me those raw, honest videos gave them hope. One viewer had failed five times. His wife left him. But he passed after watching my content. That's when I realized video could actually change someone's life.

So I kept going. Over five years I hit 5K subscribers and got monetized. But here's the problem — I had no idea why it was working. I didn't understand what was actually driving the views and the growth. I just knew the nursing videos were doing well.

And because I didn't understand the formula, I couldn't repeat it. I stopped posting nursing content and started creating random stuff — whatever I felt like making. It was more for me than for anyone else. I just hoped people would watch. They didn't. I had 286 videos and couldn't replicate my own success.

"I had 286 videos and five years of experience, but I couldn't answer a simple question: who is this for?"

So I made a decision that most people would call crazy. I stopped that channel entirely and started a brand new one from zero. But even on the new channel, I didn't get it right immediately. I tried a mix of random topics — whatever I felt like talking about. Same mistake. I was still creating for myself and hoping everyone else would show up.

Then something clicked. I landed on camera gear and content creation — and this time it was different. I wasn't just making videos I enjoyed. I was helping a specific person with a specific problem. The same service mindset I had back when I was helping my nursing classmates — but now pointed at the right audience.

"The moment I stopped creating for myself and started creating for someone else — that's when everything changed."

In roughly the same amount of time, I grew to 15K+ subscribers — 3x what the first channel ever did. Same person. Same work ethic. The only difference was that I finally understood who I was creating for, what they needed, and why the content mattered to them.

That's when I realized — growth isn't random. It's not about luck or the algorithm. It's about having a process that starts with knowing who you're serving. I had accidentally figured that out by getting it wrong for years first.

That process is what I now call The Creator Flow. And it's exactly what I teach.

THE FRAMEWORK

The Creator Flow — The Process That Took Me From Random to Repeatable

After 733 videos and every mistake in the book, I realized growing a channel comes down to three phases. Miss one, and you'll stay stuck. Nail all three, and you'll wonder why it ever felt hard.

What to Make & Why

  • Finding your content buckets

  • Understanding who's actually watching

  • Titles and thumbnails that get clicks

  • Hooks that keep people watching

How to Actually Make It

  • Scripting without staring at a blank page

  • Editing for retention, not perfection

  • A production workflow that saves you hours

  • Gear that fits your budget and goals

How to Keep Going

  • Staying consistent without burning out

  • Reading your analytics so you know what's working

  • Batching and scheduling around a real life

  • Knowing when to level up your setup

WHY ME

I'm Not Teaching From a Textbook.
I'm Teaching From 733 Mistakes.

Most YouTube coaches peaked years ago and now sell courses about it. I'm still in the trenches — actively creating content every week, testing what works right now. Everything I teach comes from doing it wrong first.

Currently Active Creator

I'm not teaching from memory. I'm actively growing my channel and testing strategies in real time.

  • You don't need one, but it's highly recommended. Ideally you'd have at least 10 videos posted so we have something to look at and work with. That said, if you're starting from zero and just need help figuring out your direction, we can absolutely work with that too.

  • Absolutely not. I review cameras for a living — I know what works at every budget. If you have a smartphone, you have enough to start. Part of what we can cover in a session is what gear actually matters for your situation and what's a waste of money.

  • YouTube is my focus, and it's where the majority of what I teach applies best. That said, the fundamentals — content strategy, scripting, workflow, consistency — work across platforms. You'll still get a lot out of the session if you're creating for other platforms. But I'm mostly speaking from a YouTube perspective.

  • We hop on a video call and spend the full hour working on whatever's most important for you right now. That could be reviewing your content, building a strategy, fixing your workflow, talking through gear decisions, or mapping out your next 30 days of content. You'll leave with specific action steps — not just motivation. And if it turns out you need something more structured than a single session, ask me about it on the call.

  • You can always book another single session anytime. Or if you want something more structured, ask me about the 12-Week Creator Program during our call — it includes weekly sessions, worksheets, templates, and a step-by-step curriculum designed to take you from wherever you are to a fully functioning content system.

  • You can cancel or reschedule for free up to 24 hours before your session. Cancellations or reschedules made less than 24 hours before the call are non-refundable. No-shows are also non-refundable. If something comes up on my end, I'll reach out and we'll find a new time that works for both of us — you'll never lose your session because of me.

  • I built my entire channel while working full-time as a nurse. That's literally why my coaching exists — I know what it's like to create content with limited time. We'll build a system that works around your schedule, not the other way around.

MY PROMISE

You Won't Leave Confused

I spent five years confused about who I was making videos for. You won't. Every session ends with clear, actionable next steps — not vague advice. I teach you to fish. I don't do the work for you.

You Already Know You Should Be Creating.

The only question is whether you keep figuring it out alone — or let someone who made every mistake first show you the shortcut. One hour. Let's figure out your next move.
